Grace Like Rain

It's quite rainy here today, one of those days where it doesn't matter how much you layer up, some part of you will get wet if you walk outside, even for a short length of time. As I trekked to class in the rain, I got to thinking about how God's grace is like rain.

And no matter how much I put on to hold the rain out - my boots, my coat, etc - some part of me will still get wet. On the same token, no matter how much we run from God's grace or try to keep it out, He'll still make sure some of it gets in. And I'm very thankful for that, especially since there are time's that I'm down and I don't feel like I want to be picked up. I don't want to feel any better, I just want to mope for a little bit. God loves me too much to leave me like that and will make sure some of His Amazing Grace gets in where I can feel it, no matter what!
